Vacuum Gauge, 80mm

A device for measuring the relative pressure below ambient pressure, necessary for all processes associated with draining tanks and refrigeration or air-conditioning systems of refrigerants, residual moisture and other pollutants. Equipped with an adjustable reference indicator which allows optical control of changes in vacuum. Sometimes (not very professionally) it is also used to check the tightness of the installation. An increase in the vacuum meter readings in a closed circuit indicates that the refrigeration system is not absolutely tight. Of course, a more reliable leakage test is carried out with an inert gas pressure suitable for the system and the refrigerant in question. However, the vacuum meter itself is necessary to assess the size of the "vacuum", i.e. the degree of purification of the system from gaseous pollutants.
